The black-tailed godwit was elected national bird of the Netherlands in 2015.
This traditional Dutch meadow bird overwinters in West Africa and comes to the Netherlands in the spring to breed in the herb-rich grasslands of Friesland and North and South Holland.
His call is very recognizable: ‘Godwit, godwit, godwit’.

This black-tailed godwit is easy to assemble without scissors or glue.
Hang him by the wings and make him fly by pulling a string on his belly.

Contents: 1 black-tailed godwit, 1 envelope and a card with space for your own text.
